This ring spent four years stuck on David Farbricant’s finger when his hand swelled after a flag football injury.
The ring belonged to David’s grandfather and was a gift when he passed away. The guy on the ring is literally David…the biblical one. So there was no question— swollen finger or not, the ring was not getting cut off. (Eventually, David’s hand healed and the ring slid off.)
We asked David, a New York City based graphic designer and Design Director, why he doesn’t wear the ring as much these days. Seems this isn’t his first hand injury.
“It’s risky. I’m accident prone,” he said.
David, thank you for trusting us with this awesome family heirloom. We’re glad the ring is now art on your wall and not stuck on your hand!
